Urgent appointments
Phone us on (01562) 822647, Monday – Friday at 8am.
All appointment calls are triaged by a doctor. The receptionist will ask you questions as to why the appointment is needed. We will use the information you give us to signpost you to the correct health care professional.
Non-urgent advice: Notice
Emergencies will always be seen by a health care professional, on the same day.
Routine Appointments
To request a routine appointment:
- Phone us on (01562) 822647, Monday to Friday from 08:00 – 18:00.
- Submit an online request via Online Request Form
- You can use your NHS app or patient access account to book certain appointments with the nurse by following the link in the text message.
- Please tell us if you need an interpreter or have any other communication needs.
Home Visits
If you are housebound and feel you need a visit or advice please telephone the surgery before 10am. You may initially receive a telephone consultation from the doctor who will discuss your symptoms with you before deciding if they need to visit. Please remember that several patients can be seen in the surgery in the time it takes for a home visit.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- Use your NHS App, NHS website or Patient Access account
- Phone us on 01562 822647 and choose Option 1 for automate ‘Check & Cancel’ facility
- Click CANCEL to your text message appointment reminder
Contact us Online
For non-urgent appointments, admin or prescription queries please use our online request form . For any urgent queries, please telephone the surgery on 01562 822647. We have a GP triaging with the reception/care navigation team 08:00 – 10:00 daily.
We will read and respond to your non urgent query before 18:30 on the same working day.
We will use the information you give us to direct your query to the most appropriate person. We will respond to you by text message or telephone call.
Patient Access
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
