Dr. Med., MRCGP, MRCOG, DFFP. Qualified in Hannover in 1992. Dr Wittkop has been with the practice since 2000. She offers general practice care and has a special interest in Women’s and Sexual Health and Family Planning.

Sister Blackmore runs nurse clinics as well as having responsibility for respiratory diseases.

Sister Jones runs nurse clinics as well as responsibility for certain special clinics such as Anti-coagulation and Cardio-vascular disease.

Karen Rogers

Health Care Assistant Karen Rogers runs a busy Phlebotomy Clinic and provides support and assistance to our nursing team.

Practice Manager, Mr David Oakley is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the surgery.

David is happy to hear your views and suggestions regarding the services offered by the practice, and will be able to help you with any administrative problems you may have.

Receptionists

Valerie Smith (Senior receptionist), Janet Bennett, Daphne Ward, Jane Metcalfe, Sarah Hughes and Lorraine Wilcox.

Our receptionists are here to help you get the services you need as quickly and conveniently as possible. You will find them friendly and helpful in a most demanding job. They are bound by the same codes of conduct as the doctors and nurses which means that any information you give to them is treated in confidence.

Secretaries

Julie Hollyoak and Pat Barry work as secretaries within the practice. Julie and Pat arrange referrals to hospitals and other secondary care providers.

They are also responsible for insurance reports and various other claim forms.

Clinics Administrator

Sue Price is responsible for the appointments and recall of patients with ongoing health concerns i.e. diabetes, coronary heart disease and hypertension.

District Nurse Team Leader

The District Nursing Team provides a high standard of nursing care to patients of all ages in their own home when unable to attend the surgery for short or extended periods of time.
